Yoga at Cambrai Early Learning Centre - Term 1

Michelle, from Star Yoga For Kids is delighted to be bringing weekly yoga classes to the children at Cambrai Early Learning Centre.

Yoga is an important tool to help children, not only with physical development - increasing balance, flexibility, strength & balance - but it also supports children's social, emotional and mental wellbeing. Children's yoga is very different to an adult yoga class. The traditional postures and ideas still remain, however, children are taught in a more simple, but engaging way for them to better understand and enjoy!

This term your child will learn how to mindfully move their bodies through yoga stories, songs and dance. They will also learn to be comfortable sitting in stillness and silence - we do this by introducing engaging mindful activities to help lay the foundations for a meditation practice.

No yoga experience necessary!
