After School Class (K-6) - Term 4

Wow - What a year this has turned out to be! Well done to you for making it through another lockdown. 

I am pleased to announce that yoga will be returning in Term 4, for what will hopefully be a full 10 week term.

Beginning on Friday 15th October, we will meet outdoors at Seymour Shaw Park, Miranda. Then, when children return to school, we will move back into the yoga studio.

My intention for this term is to use yoga and meditation to help support students in their transition back to the classroom, as well as ease any stress that they have been carrying this year.

Students will learn to mindfully move through yoga flows, which help enhance their strength, balance and flexibility. 

Each class will have a specific theme, which we will deep dive into so children can learn, explore and practice, before having the opportunity to create their own intuitive flows and movements. Children will also be taught breathing techniques and mindfulness activities, which all help to lay the foundations for a meditation practice. 

Star Yoga For Kids is a registered Active Kids Provider. Use your $100 Active Kids Voucher with us and all you will pay for the term is $30. 

 For the moment, group sessions are only available to families with fully vaccinated adults. If your family has chosen not to take the Covid19 vaccination at this time, please get in touch, as I am also offering online / private classes. If rules and regulations change, so will the details of these classes. I ask for you kindness and patience as we all try to navigate this time together. ** Help us all stay safe by keeping your kiddo at home if they feel unwell. We'll keep track of attendance, and make up classes can be made either in the school holidays, or the following term. Hand sanitser will be provided - please remember to use it as you enter. Please BYO yoga mat. Yoga mats will need to be carefully arranged to allow for safe social distancing.
