STAR YOGA FOR KIDS
The benefits of yoga can last a lifetime. It is my aim & passion to introduce yoga to children of all ages and backgrounds so that they can not only experience the benefits of yoga, but fall in love with the practice.
Children's yoga classes are all about having fun! We play games and practice engaging flows which get our bodies moving, then we take a quiet moment to be still and calm as we focus on our breathing.
Star Yoga Kids will learn that relaxation is just as important as moving their bodies, and the exercises which they learn in class can easily be repeated at any time in their busy day to feel calm and grounded.
Star Yoga Kids will also have the freedom to be as creative, imaginative and playful as they want to be in class, and most importantly, they have the freedom to be themselves.
MEET MICHELLE
Michelle had always dreamt of teaching children, but had never found the right platform to do so… That was up until she found yoga!! In 2016, while living and working in England Michelle had the biggest “light bulb” moment of her life, when she realised she could combine two of her favourite things: Yoga, and Teaching Children! This is when she decided it was time to pack her bags and move back home to Australia.
In April 2017, Michelle completed her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Rainbow Kids Yoga. It was life changing to say the least!
Michelle is now so happy that she has finally found a way to teach children important tools such as self-awareness, respect and confidence in a positive and fun environment. She is very excited to have created Star Yoga, and loves sharing her knowledge of yoga with children in the community and see more and more Star Yoga Kids’ souls shine!
